by PJ Williams Louisiana is a wonderful place to ride your bike; it’s full of history, it’s got some of the most interesting mangrove areas in the United States and it’s got interesting terrain to ride on. However, bike season for most people is in the height of the summer, which in Louisiana means bugs, heat and humidity. Plan accordingly and bring water, and insect repellent. If you’re riding near the bayous, watch out for alligators and other wildlife; they don’t usually go after cyclists,
