Much like Sylvester Stallone in an arm wrestling tournament, the DAKINE Men’s Cross X Glove goes over the top to keep your hands comfortable and protected during long rides out on the trail. This padded trail glove’s mesh backpanel cuts down on clammy palmsgood for Ferris, not good for youwhile molded knuckle and finger protection fends off low hanging branches and hopping rocks. The Cross X Glove’s neoprene cuff stays put no matter how hard you ride, and silicone gripper finger tips offer a little extra dexterity for your digits.

5 Stars Dakine backs their products
Let me start by saying that I owned the last year’s model of these gloves and they lasted for about 5 rides before the finger pads completely fell apart. But Dakine’s awesome customer service gave me an RMA to ship them back and I had this model shipped right back to me in no time. This model is a much improved model of full finger downhill style MTB gloves over previous versions. With full hand protection and palm gel that’s makes you feel protected but won’t tear your hands up from the construction. The middle and index fingers have extra grip on the pads of the fingers for braking and the adjustable wrist strap adjusts for many wrist sizes. The back of the thumb has the normal terrycloth construction for wiping sweat away as well. I say for the price these gloves definitely do the trick. They may not be as durable if you are a heavy downhiller that tends to eat it a lot. But for the more casual rider that keeps a good balance between cross country and light downhill, these gloves may be right up your alley. Although I would always recommend trying gloves on at the store first before buying. So if you decide to try these, I think you can find them at most Sports Chalets biking departments…usually on sale.
