5 Stars Incredible headlamp
This Princeton headlamp exceeded all of our expectations. We use it when we walk the dogs early in the morning and at night. The high power beam reached much further than we actually needed, and the area illumination mode lights up a large area. Battery life is excellent with MAHA rechargable AA batteries. This is an excellent product and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a headlamp that really lights up the night. We have tried four other headlamps and this one is by far the outstanding one.

5 Stars Princeton-Tec Apex 3 Headlamp_Superior Headlamp
The Princeton-Tec Apex 3 Headlamp has been far Superior to other, similar headlamps, I’ve owned. I’m an avid caver and purchased the light for that purpose. In the absolute darkness of subterranean earth nothing outperforms or outshines my headlamp…I dropped it in a puddle of water other day as well, completely submerged, took it out worked like a charm.

                                                              -john

5 Stars The Difference Between Doing and Reading About The APEX PRO
I have this headlamp and it is great. I don’t know what the reviewer who wrote the scathing review about battery life is talking about. I use my APEX PRO on both spot and flood and it last many hours on a set of batteries (AA). Sturdy, good controls, easily cleaned, hard to get dirty, and bright enough to be useful (unlike many led headlamps). If I only had one headlamp this would be the one because it does it all. As useful as a flashlight in terms of brightness at less than 15 feet and hands free. I have smaller and lighter headlamps but they are also dim at less than arms length. Yes this headlamp is heavier and less comfortable than the lighter ones but it is bright enough and last a long time.

5 Stars Headlamp
Exactly what I need for late night fishing. Extremely bright and not too heavy

5 Stars Best head lamp on the market
This is by far the best head lamp on the market. I’m a caver and most lights aren’t bright enough, cost too much, or fall apart easily. The many modes of this light make caving so much safer. If I’m in a very large walking passage I’ll switch this light to the high output middle LED. If I need to have more light directly in front of me (at my feet and 15-20 feet out) I’ll switch the light to the outer four LEDs. Also, each LED has a dim mode. This is perfect for mapping or conserving battery life. The battery life is better on this light than any other consumer head lamp that I’ve tried. Almost everyone that I cave with has switched to this head lamp after they’ve caved with me a few times. The voltage regulator works very well on this lamp.

Each knob has been carefully crafted by Eric to achieve a specific purpose. Cornering bite, straight line speed and predictability were among the important factors taken into account by EC when designing the Excavator. You don¿t have to be blasting a berm at 30 mph in France to appreciate what this tire can do. Cross country racers, freeriders and downhillers rejoice. EC has delivered you a tire that you all can use.

3 Stars BEAUTIFUL BIKE…one problem… NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
This bike is absolutely beautiful and my 9 year old is going to love it, I feel confident sending him out on it, it’s beautifully constructed and definitely worth every penny. The reason I give it 3 stars instead of 5 is because it DOESN’T come with assembly instructions. My suggestion to you is to go to a local bike shop (which is what I should have done) and buy on there as opposed to online. When I called the company to ask about assembly, they suggested I take it to a local dealer to put it together. So GO OUT and buy this at a local Diamondback dealer, you’ll be as confident as me putting your kids on it!

   Manufacturer’s Warranty
Two-year warranty

  About Suunto
Suunto was founded in 1936 by outdoors man and a keen orienteering enthusiast, Tuomas Vohlonen, who had long been bothered by a problem: the inaccuracy of traditional dry compasses and their lack of steady needle operation. Being an engineer with an inventive turn of mind, he discovered and patented the production method for a much steadier needle, better readings, and a new level of accuracy. By 1950 the company was exporting compasses to over 50 countries around the world, including Canada and the United States. In 1952, Helsinki was hosting the Olympic Games, and the torches carried to light the Olympic flame were Suunto products. The next step was improving the stability and accuracy of marine compasses. The first marine compass, the Suunto K-12, was launched onto the market in 1953. In 1957, Suunto started manufacturing hypsometers, which measure the height of trees.

In the 1960s, the compass range grew further and Suunto introduced its first diving compass–initiated by the divers themselves. A British sports diver attached a Suunto compass to his wrist and found that the device also worked underwater. Thanks to his feedback and initiatives, the new business category was found. Suunto’s exports and business grew steadily and Suunto then focused on combining its strength in precision mechanics with new skills in electronics. Accuracy, reliability, and ruggedness have been Suunto’s key values from the very beginning of the company history.

Today, Suunto is a leading designer and manufacturer of sports instruments for training, diving, mountaineering, hiking, skiing, sailing, and golf. True to its roots, Suunto is today the world’s biggest compass manufacturer. Prized for their design, accuracy and dependability, Suunto sports instruments combine the aesthetics and functionality of watches with sport-specific computers that help athletes at all levels analyze and improve performance. Headquartered in Vantaa, Finland, Suunto employs more than 500 people worldwide and distributes its products to nearly 60 countries. The company is a subsidiary of Helsinki-based Amer Sports Corporation with the sister brands Wilson, Salomon, Atomic, Precor, and Mavic.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars As Advertised
It could be a little more user friendly, but it does everything that I bought it for.

1 Stars unhappy camper…
While the appearance of the watch may intice you, I found this to be strictly a form over function watch. The pictures of the Suunto T1c watch online appears to be an attractive black and silver watch when in fact it’s black with a white outer casing. This was a disappointment as well as finding it near impossible to read the time while driving my car. The black face is very difficult to read without suficient lighting. The heart rate functions seemed to work but are pointless if you’re unable to read the face of this watch. I wouldn’t recommend this model.

2 Stars Poor quality
This was a very disappointing purchase. Like others reviews have stated, this watch does not look nearly as nice as the photo.

The face of the watch is an unusually soft form plastic that seems to scratch much more easily than any watch I have ever had. Mine is quite scratched.

Finally, after about two months, after showering with the watch on, the screen went blank (It is my understanding that this watch is water resistant). I sent the watch in for repairs. After more than a month it was returned to me. In a matter of days it ceased functioning. I am now sending it in a second time.

Definitely not worth the expense. Maybe the higher quality Suunto watches perform better.

Finally, the interface for programing, controlling and using the basic functions of the watch is not particularly logical. I found it quite annoying to use.

The Nite Ize BikeLit Safety Bicycle Light is the perfect complement to other bicycle lights including spoke lights and headlights because it produces visibility that other bike lights are unable to provide. The front and rear bicycle lights install easily and can be carried in a backpack or pocket when not in use. Further, the L.E.D. lights can be turned on in two modes: steady glow and flashing. Recommended uses include adult commuters, avid road cyclists, parents with children in a bike seat or bike trailer, and youth cyclists riding around their neighborhood. The L.E.D. lights must be activated by pressing their buttons for 10 seconds or until fast flashing is observed. Instructions are included that detail how to replace batteries.

Pearl Izumi Zephrr Cycling Vest

The weather on your morning bike ride starts out foggy and moves to slightly windy, then sunny. Luckily, the fabric in the Pearl Izumi Men’s Zephrr Vest is water- and wind-resistant, breathable, and packable. The Zephrr’s form fit doesn’t leave baggy fabric blowing in the breeze, and reflective piping and logos increase your visibility on low-light rides. Pack the Zephrr Vest into its inside pocket when the sun comes out.

Product Features

Material: 100% Polyester

Core Venting: No arms

Pockets: Back stow pockets

Hood: No

Recommended Use: Road biking

Manufacturer Warranty: Lifetime

Country of Origin: China

The perennial favorite Zephrr Vest by Pearl Izumi has been updated with a softer, more wind and water resistant Zephrr fabric and flattering new lines. Offering lightweight, core protection for biking, the Zephrr polyester fabric is soft, supple, lightweight, and easy to stow when you’ve warmed up. The vest has a full-length front zipper for temperature control and easy on/off. With a comfortable and insulating micromesh lined collar that wicks away moisture, the vest is also equipped with mesh back panels for ventilation. The vest has a streamlined, form fit for speed, elasticized armholes, and a droptail hemline to keep cold air out. The vest also has a rear pocket that the it can be stuffed into for easy packing.

Like all Pearl Izumi products the Zephrr Vest has a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, that excludes failures from accidents, misuse, improper care, or normal wear. For best results Pearl Izumi recommends washing its products with detergents free of additives, such as fabric softeners and perfumes, because detergents with additives leave “surfactants” behind on a fabric’s fibers that inhibit the technical performance. Hang dry the product or dry it on a low or warm dryer setting. Never use a hot dryer setting or use a commercial dryer as this will damage the fabric’s performance.
